Heart of the matter

Designed to consolidate all cardiovascular services provided by St. Joseph’s Medical Center, the Brainerd Lakes Heart and Vascular Center expands existing capabilities by adding two interventional heart catheterization suites, cardiovascular diagnostic spaces, and clinical exam spaces within a new cardiovascular services addition to the hospital. This 20,000 SF heart and vascular clinic improves the hospital’s capabilities and provides cardiology exams and diagnostics as well as interventional heart treatment to local residents. Located directly off the main building lobby, the project involves both a horizontal and vertical expansion of an existing precast concrete structure.
