Athletics Complex Improvements
Community Pride Powers Amery’s Athletic Transformation
LHB partnered with the School District of Amery to transform its outdoor athletic facilities into a modern, accessible, and community-focused complex. Building on a decade-long relationship and a successful 2022 referendum, the district reinvested over $4 million in savings into athletic upgrades — without increasing taxes. The improvements include new varsity and junior varsity baseball fields, softball and lacrosse fields, and a football stadium featuring practice fields and a competition-ready 10-lane track. Infrastructure enhancements were a key component, with expanded parking, improved site accessibility, and upgraded lighting to support evening events and safety. Renovated bleachers and the original press box were preserved, blending tradition with modern functionality.
Community engagement guided the design, ensuring the complex reflects local pride and supports a wide range of sports and events. LHB’s civil engineers worked closely with the district to optimize campus layout and functionality, creating an athletic environment that will serve students and the broader community for years to come.

Varsity Baseball Complex
A new varsity field with artificial turf and a junior varsity field were added, along with lighting, scoreboards, batting cages, pitching mounds, bleachers, and a shared press box.
