Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center
A new home for many services
The Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center is a new adult and pediatric therapy facility for Essentia Health. Formerly downtown, the center remodeled the second floor of the former Younkers department store at Miller Hill Health Plaza in Duluth to expand its services.
Serving patients with neurological conditions and developmental diagnoses, the expanded Polinsky Center offers new equipment and new spaces designed for the latest treatment approaches and therapies for children and adults.
The 46,000 SF clinic adds new therapy gym spaces and treatment rooms, and offers evaluations, multidisciplinary therapy, and rehabilitation psychology. The center has meeting spaces to lead support groups and offices for advocates for patients and their families.
By expanding upon the services being provided by the previously completed Center for Personal Fitness and Physical Therapy project located on first floor, Essentia’s Miller Hill Health Plaza is designed to be a comprehensive therapy center for northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
