Hybrid Medical Animation is an award-winning medical and scientific 3-D animation studio specializing in highly developed animation that depicts medical devices, biotechnology, medical procedures, and pharmaceuticals. The company was looking for unique space in the North Loop, an emerging neighborhood in Minneapolis populated by many creative high-tech companies. LHB was selected to design the new 4,100 SF environment.

Hybrid’s leadership wanted a serene studio setting that was conducive to creative work, collaboration, and constructive play, which are critical to producing a refined and distinct product. LHB responded with a highly crafted space design that provided a series of interconnected work areas that encourage “heads-down” focus, collegial sharing, and relaxed conversations, as well as formal meeting spaces designed for interactive presentations and meetings with clients. It was also important to the company that the environment be a low-stress environment that fosters creativity.
