Project for Pride in Living

Oxford Village

Park Row

This 51-unit apartment building in the City of Hopkins overlooks Cottageville Park, where families can enjoy walking paths, play areas, and a community garden. The 56,983-square-foot building accommodates multiple family sizes, with units ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom units. Some apartments have balconies with views of the park, while others have front porches facing a street and existing homes. The building’s mass is broken down to relate to the existing neighborhood, with a four-story section of the building stepping down to three stories as it approaches existing homes. Bay windows, balconies, and porches further ameliorate the building’s size. A semi-public walkway, marked by a contemporary pergola, offers the neighborhood a path to the city park through a pleasantly landscaped walkway on the site.
