Gateway Skyways
Making New Connections
LHB collaborated with United Properties to develop concept and schematic designs for two skyways. The first skyway connects the Gateway Project to the Minneapolis Public Library over Third Street South, while the second skyway links the Minneapolis Public Library to Opus 360 across Nicollet Avenue South. The LHB team integrated code and zoning requirements specified by City of Minneapolis officials into these skyway designs. Following refinement during the design development phase with United Properties, the team generated construction documents for both skyways and managed construction administration.
