LHB is pleased to announce that Phil Waugh, LEED AP, has been named vice president of the firm’s Integrative Design Team (IDT). Waugh joined LHB in 2014 and previously served as IDT’s managing principal.

Waugh will oversee the performance and growth of the business group, as well as define goals, shape strategies, and guide the team’s rising talent.

With more than two decades of industry experience, Waugh has been a driving force at LHB, managing hundreds of projects across diverse areas such as historic preservation and K-12 education. His extensive portfolio includes work covering multiple markets and services, and he is well-versed in project management, building investigations, materials research, construction methods, and sustainability practices.

“Phil’s commitment to genuine and collaborative relationships with clients and his team is foundational to his approach,” says CEO Jason Mangan. “We’re thrilled to leverage his talents as a forward-thinking and strategic leader within our IDT group.”

Waugh’s commitment to knowledge-sharing extends beyond the studio and includes teaching courses at the university level. He holds a Master of Science degree in historic preservation from the University of Oregon. ∎
