LHB Announces Staff Promotions

LHB is pleased to announce the following company promotions:

Lisa Karlgaard, PE, has been promoted to Senior Structural Engineer – Public Works, Structures & Survey. Karlgaard joined LHB in 2006 and has 21 years of experience. A longtime member of LHB’s award-winning bridge design group, Karlgaard has deep experience in field assessment, federal reporting, historic planning studies, bridge rating, bridge design, historic rehabilitation plan and special provision preparation, and construction administration. She holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Engineering degree from the University of North Dakota.

Megan Goplin, PE, has been promoted to Civil Engineering Manager – Public Works, Structures & Survey. Goplin joined LHB in 2015 and has more than 17 years of experience in site, stormwater, utility, roadway, intersection, and accessibility design for both public and private clients. She manages projects through all phases of design and construction, ranging from concept design and scoping to construction completion. Goplin specializes in public infrastructure projects for city and county clients and is well-versed in state and federal funding requirements. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Angie Martin has been promoted to Project Coordinator. Martin joined LHB in 2016 and supports LHB’s commercial, landscape, healthcare, and climate solutions groups within the firm’s Integrative Design Team. Martin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. ∎
