Commercial Energy Code Study
Achieving the Energy Code’s Full Potential
LHB partnered with Seventhwave and Franklin Energy on a Minnesota Department of Commerce Conservation Applied Research and Development funded energy baseline and market characterization study of commercial buildings in Minnesota. Aiming to characterize the energy efficiency of new and renovated buildings, the study identifies specific opportunities for increased energy savings through existing commercial codes. Also included are recommended measures for savings that go beyond existing requirements. LHB led outreach efforts, conducted fieldwork, and identified savings opportunities.
