Lydia believes landscape architecture can be transformative, improving human health, strengthening communities, encouraging reflection and recreation, and fostering a sense of connection with nature. As the leader of LHB’s Landscape Architecture and Planning Studio, she manages a team that creates vibrant public, commercial, and residential places for a wide range of clients. Her own portfolio encompasses community, education, park, trail, and transportation projects.

As a designer, Lydia homes in on the details that create memorable experiences. As a project manager, her sensible and logical approach keeps projects moving, producing outcomes that positively impact people’s lives. But it’s her clear, authentic communication that many clients prize most: Lydia builds stakeholder enthusiasm for projects and articulates clearly the broad benefits of the landscape designs she develops.
