David Lichtenberg

Engineering Principal

David leads the engineering team for LHB’s Energy & Industry group. He has specialized in electrical design for more than 30 years, including nearly two decades with Enbridge, where he was the electrical lead on the Line 67 Alberta Clipper pump station project and the supervisor and then manager on the Line 3 replacement project. He has extensive skills in leadership, project management, construction management, and design. His resume includes work for pipeline, pulp and paper, power, and mining clients.

David began his career in pulp and paper, working at Potlatch (now Sappi) in Cloquet, MN. There he was responsible for electrical design, troubleshooting AC/DC drive systems and programmable logic controllers, coordinating maintenance repairs, supervising staff, and managing systems from scope to startup. Over the course of his career, David has held a variety of roles and leadership positions, from project engineer to engineering superintendent.
